These terms and Conditions govern your use of the Home Learning Together website, your account, purchases of our digital courses and resources, and any tuition or educational support services provided by us.
Please read these Terms before creating an account, purchasing a product or booking tuition.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. About Home Learning Together
Home Learning Together is a partnership operated by Tom Brand and Kate Sanders, trading as Home Learning Together.

Please note: this is a residential business address and is provided for correspondence and legal purposes only. We do not receive customers or visitors at this address.
Home Learning Together provides practical learning and family-support resources, primarily for families with young children aged 2–5.
We also provide private tuition and may offer other educational support services for children of different ages and stages.
Our educational content and tuition are created or delivered by appropriately experienced and qualified professionals.
2. Using our website
You may use our website only for lawful purposes.
You must not deliberately interfere with the operation or security of the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to restricted areas, misuse another person's account, or use the website in a way that could damage or disrupt our services.
We may restrict or suspend access where we reasonably believe the website, an account or our content is being misused.
3. Accounts
Some Home Learning Together services require you to create an account.
You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your login details secure and notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Accounts are intended for the individual or household for whom access was purchased or provided and must not be shared publicly or used to provide access to unrelated third parties.
We may suspend or terminate an account where there is a serious or repeated breach of these Terms.
4. Digital courses and resources
When you purchase or receive access to a Home Learning Together digital product, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use that content for your own private or family use.
Unless we expressly give permission, you must not reproduce, redistribute, resell or publicly share our materials; upload them elsewhere; share paid account access with others; or use our materials commercially.
All intellectual property rights remain with Home Learning Together or the relevant rights holder.
5. Digital purchases and immediate access
Some products are supplied digitally and may become available immediately after purchase.
Where immediate digital access is provided, we will obtain any consent and acknowledgement required by UK consumer law before supply begins.
Where applicable, you will be asked to expressly request immediate access and acknowledge the effect this has on your statutory cancellation rights.
Nothing in these Terms removes any statutory rights that continue to apply, including your rights where digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet legal requirements.
6. Payments
Prices will be displayed or agreed before you commit to a purchase or booking.
Online payments are currently processed through Wix and its payment providers. Home Learning Together does not store your full payment-card details.
You must provide accurate payment information and have authority to use the chosen payment method.
7. Refunds and consumer rights
Your purchases are protected by applicable UK consumer law.
Your cancellation rights depend on what you purchase and when supply begins.
For digital content supplied immediately, your normal 14-day cancellation right may be lost once supply begins where you have expressly requested immediate supply and acknowledged that consequence.
This does not affect your rights where content is faulty, not as described or does not meet the standards required by law.

8. Private tuition and educational support
Home Learning Together may provide one-to-one tuition, group tuition and other educational support.
Tuition is currently delivered online.
Before booking, we will agree relevant details with the parent or guardian, which may include the child's learning needs, lesson duration, frequency, price and proposed schedule.
Unless otherwise expressly agreed, payment must be made in advance before a tuition slot is secured.
Prices and lesson lengths may vary depending on the support agreed and will be made clear before payment.
9. Individual tuition bookings
For individual or flexible tuition bookings, you may cancel or request to rearrange a session by giving at least 48 hours' notice before its scheduled start time.
Where sufficient notice is given, the payment may be refunded or transferred to an agreed alternative session.
Where less than 48 hours' notice is given, or the learner does not attend, we may retain or charge the session fee where reasonable to reflect the reserved teaching time and resulting loss to us.
We recognise that genuine emergencies and exceptional circumstances occur. We may offer a refund, credit or alternative session where we consider this reasonable.
Your statutory rights are unaffected.
10. Regular reserved tuition
Where a parent or guardian asks us to reserve a recurring tuition slot, the arrangements will be agreed before the regular booking begins.
Unless otherwise agreed, regular tuition operates as a rolling arrangement, with tuition normally paid four weeks in advance.
Either the parent/guardian or Home Learning Together may normally end the recurring arrangement by giving four weeks' notice.
The ordinary 48-hour cancellation policy continues to apply to individual sessions during a regular arrangement.
Planned holidays or temporary pauses may be accommodated by prior agreement. Whether a regular slot can be held during an unpaid break will depend on the circumstances and must be agreed in advance.
We will not impose a new long-term commitment merely because a rolling booking period renews.
11. If we cancel tuition
If Home Learning Together cancels a paid tuition session, we will offer an appropriate replacement session, credit or refund for the affected session.
If a tutor begins a session late, we will make reasonable arrangements to ensure that the learner receives the teaching time purchased, either during that session or by another agreed arrangement.
12. Late attendance
If a learner joins a tuition session late, the session will normally still finish at its originally scheduled time.
This is necessary because another booking may follow immediately afterwards.
Where circumstances permit, the tutor may choose to extend the session, but an extension cannot be guaranteed.
13. Online tuition and safeguarding
Our online tuition arrangements are designed with safeguarding and appropriate professional boundaries in mind.
For children under 16, we require a parent, guardian or responsible adult aged 18 or over to remain at the child's location and be reasonably available during the session.
They do not ordinarily need to remain beside the child throughout the lesson unless this has been agreed or is appropriate for the child's needs.
Booking, payment and routine administrative communication will take place with the parent or guardian rather than directly with the child.
Online tuition sessions will not routinely be recorded.
We may introduce or maintain separate safeguarding and online-tuition policies containing further information about how sessions are conducted.
14. Learning outcomes
Our resources and tuition are designed to support learning, development and family life.
Children learn and develop differently, and we cannot guarantee particular academic results, assessment scores, developmental outcomes or rates of progress.
This does not affect our obligation to provide paid services with reasonable care and skill or any other rights you have under consumer law.
15. Educational, medical and developmental information
General content on Home Learning Together is educational and informational in nature.
Unless expressly provided as personalised tuition or educational support, it is not individually tailored to a particular child and should not be treated as medical, psychological or other regulated professional advice.
Where you have specific concerns about a child's health, development, safety or additional needs, appropriate professional advice should be sought where necessary.
16. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, website content, original written materials, graphics, illustrations, characters, downloadable resources and course materials are owned by or licensed to Home Learning Together.
You may use purchased or freely provided materials for their intended personal/family purpose.
You must obtain our permission before reproducing, distributing, adapting or commercially exploiting our protected content beyond what is permitted by law.
17. Availability and changes to services
We aim to keep our website and digital services available, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.
We may perform maintenance, correct faults, improve content or make reasonable changes to our services.
Where a material change affects something you have already purchased, we will not use these Terms to remove statutory rights or materially reduce what you purchased without an appropriate legal basis or remedy.
18. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject always to your statutory rights.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal obligations.
The latest version will be published on our website with an updated revision date.
Material changes will not retrospectively remove rights that arose under an existing purchase or contract.
20. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also have rights to bring proceedings in the courts applicable to where you live.
