Depending on how you use Home Learning Together, we may collect:

Payment providers may collect additional information necessary to process payments. Home Learning Together does not store your full payment-card details.

For our general digital resources and courses, we deliberately avoid requesting identifiable information about children where it is not needed.

Private tuition is different because some limited information about the learner is necessary to provide personalised educational support.

For tuition, we may therefore record information such as:

• the child's first name;

• age or school year;

• learning needs, goals or areas being supported;

• lesson plans and teaching notes; and

• brief information about learning progress.

We aim to keep children's information to the minimum reasonably necessary.

We do not routinely require a child's personal email address, telephone number or home address for online tuition.

Parents or guardians may voluntarily provide additional information. We will not routinely record information that is unnecessary for tuition.

However, information may need to be recorded where reasonably necessary to protect a child, address a safeguarding concern, comply with a legal obligation, establish or defend legal rights, or safely provide the service.

Online payments are currently processed using Wix and its payment providers.

These providers process information required to complete transactions and prevent fraud.

8. Online tuition

Online tuition is currently intended to be delivered using Microsoft Teams.

Microsoft may process information necessary to provide the meeting service, such as meeting participation and technical information.

We do not routinely record tuition sessions.

Parents and guardians should use the meeting invitation provided for the relevant session and should not publicly share tuition meeting links.

9. Website hosting and service providers

Our website is hosted and operated using Wix.

We may also use trusted providers to help us operate Home Learning Together, including providers of:

• website hosting and membership services;

• payment processing;

• email and communications;

• analytics;

• online meetings;

• data storage and security; and

• other necessary business services.

These organisations may process personal information on our behalf or, in some circumstances, act as separate controllers for their own legal purposes.

We only share personal information where reasonably necessary or legally required.

• routine tuition learning notes will normally be deleted when they are no longer reasonably needed following the end of tuition; and

We periodically review information and delete or anonymise it when there is no longer a legitimate reason to retain it.
